Patricia Ramirez, MHC
Associate Mind-Body-Soul Clinician
My work is rooted in a lifelong connection to the integration of mind, body, and soul. Influenced early on by my late mother, who was both a nurse and energy healer, I was introduced to clinical and holistic approaches to healing — an integration that continues to shape everything I do.
Before pursuing formal training, I spent my twenties immersed in embodied and energy healing practices: yoga, intuitive dance, transpersonal coaching, flower essence therapy, and somatic exploration. These experiences deepened my understanding of the body as a powerful gateway to healing and ultimately led me to NYU, where I am completing my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling.
I offer a gentle, steady, grounded, and collaborative presence where you can feel deeply seen and supported. I meet you at your own pace as we explore both the light and shadow aspects of your inner world — working to build a more attuned relationship with your body, emotions, intuition, creativity, and play. Our work may also include developing personalized rituals and tools that support your ongoing mental, physical, and spiritual connection to yourself.
I draw from an integrative and transpersonal framework that includes somatic awareness, mindfulness, creative exploration, and meaning-making practices.
I have a particular focus on supporting women-identified and LGBTQ+ clients who have experienced psychological, sexual, or spiritual harm within spiritual or religious communities. I also work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, shame, existential stress, body image concerns, and questions around identity and life direction.
My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive, culturally inclusive lens. I believe that systemic forces create real barriers to healing, and I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirmative care and to continuously evolving my approach to be inclusive and culturally responsive.
