Sessions run 50 to 60 minutes.

Individual therapy is $275 with Jason, Corinne, and Francesca, and $180 with Patricia Ramirez.

Couples therapy is $310, and $200 with Patricia Ramirez.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes, based on financial need, and we want to be straight about how it works.

Reduced-fee spots depend on a clinician's caseload, so they are not always available. Patricia Ramirez has the most room right now and can work with a wide range of budgets. Jason, Corinne and Francesca's caseloads are close to full, so lower-fee openings with them are less available—though we will do our best to make them when the fit is right.

If cost is what stands between you and starting, say so on your consultation call. We will tell you honestly what we can do, and if it isn't enough, we will help you find someone whose fee works.

We are in network with Aetna. For all other plans we are out of network, which means you pay at the time of session and we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

Many plans reimburse a meaningful portion of out-of-network mental health care once your deductible is met. We are happy to call on your behalf to learn what your benefits are.

Most clients pay by Zelle or credit card

Yes. Once we schedule a session, if you need to reschedule, just let us know earlier than 24-hours notice. If less than 24 hours, we charge a full-fee cancellation. Things happen, and life gets in the way, we waive our fee in extenuating circumstances.

We are a telehealth-first practice, and most of our work happens online.

We also see clients in person in Waldoboro, Maine, on the midcoast. In-person sessions are with Jason Maas and Corinne Cappelletti, who are licensed in Maine. Availability is limited.

Online, Corinne Cappelletti and Jason Maas work with people located in New York and Maine. Francesca Walker and Patricia Ramirez work with people located in New York.

For psychotherapy, yes. Licensure is by state, and we can only provide therapy to people located in states where we hold a license. Corinne Cappelletti and Jason Maas are licensed in New York and Maine. Francesca Walker and Patricia Ramirez are licensed in New York.

Holistic Help is different — see below.

Yes. We are a telehealth-first practice, and most of our work happens online. You need a private space, a stable connection, and headphones if anyone else is home. We use a HIPAA-compliant platform and send a link before each session.

For most concerns, research has found telehealth psychotherapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person work. It also removes the drive, which for a lot of people is the difference between going consistently and stopping.

If you travel out of state, tell your clinician. Where you are physically located during a session determines which license applies, so it needs to be planned rather than discovered mid-session.

Holistic Help is our non-clinical offering — one-to-one sessions, groups, ritual and ceremony, and body-mind practice. It is available wherever you are, regardless of where you live.

It is not psychotherapy and is not a substitute for it.

Parts of it are, and we will tell you which.

Cognitive restructuring and core belief work come out of cognitive behavioral therapy, one of the most extensively researched interventions in the field. Our couples work draws on the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, both with substantial trial support. Mindfulness-based practice has a deep literature behind it.

Other parts of what we do—ritual, ancestral work, energy work—come out of lineage and practice rather than clinical trials, and we do not claim otherwise. We keep them close because they have been central to our own lives and training, not because we can point you to a study. We think both belong in the room. You are entitled to know which is which, and to want only one of them.

Energy work is a guided visualization practice. You settle into a meditative state, bring attention to somewhere in the body that is holding, and are prompted to picture what is there.

It is entirely optional. Nobody will introduce it without asking. Plenty of people work here and never touch it.

Sometimes because the fit was wrong. Sometimes because the work stayed in conversation when what was holding the pattern in place was not in conversation — it was in a body that had been braced for years, or in a belief formed too early to have been examined.

We are not promising it will be different. We are saying the material we work with is broader, and that many people who arrive here have been understood without changing.

No. We are licensed mental health counselors, not physicians or psychiatric nurse practitioners. If medication seems worth exploring, we will help you find someone to talk to and coordinate with them if you want us to.

What you say is confidential, with the narrow legal exceptions every licensed clinician operates under—risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else, and suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. We go through this with you at the start and you can ask about any part of it.

We are an outpatient practice and do not provide emergency or on-call coverage. If you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. If you are struggling but not in immediate danger, say so in your consultation call—we will be honest about whether this is the right level of care and help you find it if it is not.

People come to us with anxiety, grief, trauma, burnout, religious and spiritual trauma, relationship difficulty, life transitions, and the particular exhaustion of holding space for everyone else. We work often with highly sensitive people, neurodivergent people, artists, healers, fathers and mothers.

Sessions run 50 to 60 minutes. Most people start weekly. Some move to every other week once things settle, and some come more often during a hard stretch. We decide it together and revisit it.

Mostly we get to know each other. You'll complete an intake form beforehand, so we aren't spending the hour on background. That frees the session for what actually brought you here — at whatever pace feels workable — what you've already tried, and what you want to be different. Nothing is required of you that you aren't ready for.
